PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a driving roller for an endless belt for an electrophotographic device capable of stably traveling without meandering, even in the case of using for a long period by laying a wear preventing ring on a part where the roller comes into contact with the side face of a guide rib so that the ring may be made freely slidable with reference to the roller. SOLUTION: The wear preventing ring 7 is interposed between the side face of the guide rib 3 of the endless belt 4 and a positioning wall 6 for the roller 1. It is allowed to use fluororesin, acetal resin, synthetic resin such as polyethylene terephthalete, polybutylene terephthalete, polyethylene, metal such as copper, stainless steel as the material for the wear preventing ring 7. It is preferable to use such material whose wear resistance is improved more than the material of the guide rib 3 and whose slippage is improved, and also it is preferable to use hard material for the ring 7. The wear preventing ring 7 is formed to a ring shape, and the ring is idly fitted in the small diameter part 5 of the roller 1 so as to be made freely slidable, and the ring 7 is interposed between the side face of the guide rib 3 and the positioning wall 6 for the roller 1. |
