PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a normal connection confirmation method for mobile station capable of instantaneously detecting a radio channel abnormally disconnected by some reasons in radio signal transfer between a radio modem and a mobile station. SOLUTION: While an exchange 100 and the mobile station 103 perform radio communication through the radio modem (base station) 101, the base station 101 cyclically, in every 3-5 seconds for instance, transmits confirmation signals 106 to the mobile station 103 and the mobile station 103 transmits the confirmation signals (response) 106 to the base station 101 at the time of receiving the confirmation signals 106. The base station 101 judges that radio connection is normal at the time of receiving the confirmation signals within prescribed time, one second for instance, and judges that the radio connection is disconnected and performs a communication ending processing at the time of not receiving response signals within the prescribed time.
