PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the maintenance of the accuracy of date data compatible with the saving of memory capacity by requiring the accuracy in the unit of seconds concerning initial data and counting time and in the unit of hours concerning accumulated time data. SOLUTION: A recording control IC 48 is actuated by feed from a battery. Then, the clock of an oscillation circuit 99 is inputted in a second generating circuit 100, a second pulse is inputted in an hour generating circuit 101, an hour pulse is fed to a time measuring circuit 102 every time one hour elapses, and the hour pulse is counted and set as the accumulated time. After initializing an IC memory 16, a computer 110 transmits a reset signal to the IC 48, so that the circuits 100, 101 and 102 and a write control circuit 103 are initialized. Continuously, the computer 110 writes the date at the point of time when it transmits the reset signal to the specified address of the memory 16 through the I/F port of the IC 48 as the initial data of the date data with the accuracy in the unit of seconds.
