PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage medium which can display photographed picture data in association with its photographing position and can display from a free point of view on the basis of an instruction of a person who appreciates by recording objective information obtained when photographed in a table of contents(TOC) by associating it with the picture data. SOLUTION: Objective information obtained when photographed is recorded in a TOC by associating it with picture data. A digital camera has a GPS receiver 200 and an angle speed sensor 201 incorporated or connected to itself. As a result of operation at the GPS receiver 200, obtained latitude/longitude information, time information and the like are supplied to a media drive block 108 and fetched into a microcomputer 86. Data recorded on a disk are managed by the TOC. The TOC is recorded in a TOC area of an inner most periphery in the disk. The TOC is read first at the time of charging of the disk and is stored in a memory 81. Then, the TOC which is stored in the memory 81 by the microcomputer 86 is read and an address control or the like is performed.
