PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a antenna with excellent shock resistance performance by improving problems caused when the rod antenna is fallen. SOLUTION: Relating to the antenna where a top part 10 at a top of the antenna and a middle antenna rod 15 whose one end connects to a metallic sleeve 11 of the top part 10 are provided and the other end of the antenna rod 15 is fixed to a case of a portable telephone set or the like so as to be contained in the case, the top part 10 is provided with a coil bobbin 12 connecting to one end of the metallic sleeve 15, a helical coil 13 that is wound on the coil bobbin 12, and a cap 14 that covers the helical coil 13 wound on the bobbin 12, and the cap 14 and the metallic sleeve 12 are adhered via an elastic body 1.
