PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To confirm and adjust read sensitivity easily, speedily, and accurately by supplying a printing means with a graphic command for printing a bar code on a bankbook according to rearranged image data. SOLUTION: A data processing means 33 performs a data substituting process for rearranging extended data obtained by a data extending process into image data (bit map) for printing a bar code by using a printer 7 that the processor is equipped with. After the image data is substituted for the read data obtained from the bankbook through an optical sensor unit(OSU) 1, a CPU 3 reads image data out of a RAM 5 and supplies the data to a print control means 34. The print control means 34 supplies the image data to the printing means 7 with a graphic command for image printing in a bar code read test in maintenance mode. At the same time, a conveyance control means 31 of the CPU 3 controls a conveying means 6 to perform conveyance at a constant speed. |
