摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive electrode paste composition capable of forming a positive electrode layer excellent in the smoothness of the surface without generating cracks on the surface and having the uniform thickness of 120 μm or above in a lithium secondary battery. SOLUTION: This positive electrode paste composition for a lithium secondary battery contains an active material capable of storing/discharging lithium, a conductive material, a binder resin and a solvent, and it is applied to the surface of a current collector to form a positive electrode layer. The total composition ratio of the active material, conductive material and binder resin is set to 60 wt.% or above against the whole paste composition of 100 wt.%, and the viscosity of the paste composition is set to 40 Pa.s or below.
