<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a toner excellent in image quality (clearness) and giving a clear stable image over a long period of time and to obtain a toner excellent in image quality (clearness), emitting no foul odor during use and giving a clear stable image over a long period of time. SOLUTION: The former toner uses a resin for a toner based on a vinyl polymer and has 200-800 ppm water content and >=65 deg.C peak temp. of a loss tangent (tanδ) in the measurement of its kinematic viscoelasticity. The latter toner uses a resin for a toner based on a vinyl polymer and has 200-800 ppm water content, <=800 ppm total residual vinyl monomer and org. solvent content, <=1,000 ppm decomposition residue of a polymn. initiator and >=65 deg.C peak temp. of a loss tangent (tanδ) in the measurement of its kinematic viscoelasticity.</p> |
