PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To isolate hardware from vibration, shock and electrostatic discharge by providing a hollow shell structure having an inner slot and an opening for receiving a printed circuit board, and a fixing bracket including a frame part for receiving the shell structure. SOLUTION: The part of an assembly for holding a printed circuit board 20 has a hollow shell structure 22 which is inserted into a fixing bracket 24. The printed circuit board 20 can be inserted into the shell structure 22 by making an opening at a part thereof. The shell structure 22 has substantially open bottom which provides an opening for receiving the printed circuit board 20. The shell structure 22 is provided with an inner slot being fitted tightly to the circumference at the fringe of the printed circuit board 20, when it is inserted into the shell structure 22 of highly dielectric material. The inner slot extends over a part or entire circumference at the fringe of the printed circuit board 20. Consequently, the parts on the printed circuit board 20 can be protected against damages.
