PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it unnecessary to convert an existing key into a format of new field width by easily changing the bit width of a site storing field in a distributed database, and even when a record generated by the system already exists, preventing the record from being influenced by the bit width of the field. SOLUTION: A record processing part 32 generates a key 121. A key generation part 324 extracts only the bit string length of a site number field 1111 out of the bit string of a site number and inverts the right and left of the extracted bit string. Then the bit string of the site number is shifted left only by the bit string length of a record number field 1112 in order to position the bit string. Then OR between the bit string of the record number and the bit string of the bit-shifted site number is found out. The record processing part 32 generates a record 11 to be stored in a database from the generated key 121 and data and stores the record 11 in the database.
