<p>Raw materials are mixed close to a spray or mould device, sprayed, vapourised cast or spread on a temporary or permanent carrier. Relative motion is provided between the device and the carrier relative to the output of the mixer to obtain a certain foam thickness. The material is subjected to preparatory conditioning and finally subjected to pressure, so that the cellular structure is permanently modified to produce a wholly or partly compressed or moulded end product. Specifically, a metal conveyor belt used for spreading the mix has an anti-stick coating of, (e.g.), Teflon (R.T.M.).</p> |
