A pair of bi-flow mixer tap discs has a first disc 1 with a first aperture 2 near the centre of a reference circle in the disc and with second and third apertures 3, 4 diametrically opposed. A fourth aperture 5 is internally tangential to the reference circle and is offset angularly to the third aperture 4. The second and third apertures 3, 4 are internally tangential to the reference circle. Each of the second, third and fourth apertures 3, 4, 5 are circumferentially elongate. The second disc 7 moves in rotation and in translation to the first disc 1 and includes two openings 8, 9 that are internally tangential to a second reference circle. The second opening 9 has a circumferentially elongate shape with a first terminal area diametrically facing the first opening 8 and a second terminal area diametrically offset from the first terminal area in an angular direction. Depending upon the position and orientation of the second disc 7, the first and second apertures 2, 3 are selectively overlapped radially by the first opening 8 and the third and fourth openings 4, 5 are selectively overlapped by the second opening 9.
