PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reliable uninterruptible power supply system, without interrupting power to be supplied. SOLUTION: An uninterruptible power supply system consists of a rectifier 1 for converting a commercial AC power to DC, a solid macromolecular electrolyte type water hydrolysis device with an electrolytic cell 2 for generating hydrogen from the DC power, a fuel cell 5 with hydrogen being generated by the solid macromolecular electrolyte type water hydrolysis device as a fuel, and an inverter 6 for converting a DC power obtained by the fuel battery 5 into AC. In this case, the rectifier 1 and the inverter 6 are connected directly with a circuit 16, and the system is provided with a capacitor 7 that can energize the inverter 6. |
