<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make easily discriminable sequence at an intermittent recording time by running it at a speed of integer division of a standard mode, stopping a supply of a signal to one side rotary head of a side scanning on a magnetic tape between first, second rotary heads for a specified period for every a specified rotation period and performing intermittent recording. SOLUTION: The magnetic tape is run at a speed of 1/N (N is integer of 2 or above) times of a standard speed. The matter that a digital signal is supplied to the head of the side to be scanned between the first, second rotary heads, and the signal is stopped for the (N-1)/2 rotation period of a rotary drum is repeated at every N/2 rotation period of the rotary drum. A control pulse reproduced from a control head on the magnetic tape is supplied respectively to a rise edge detection circuit 51 and a fall edge detection circuit 52, and is counted by a counter 53, and a duty ratio is calculated by a duty ratio discrimination circuit 55, and a control signal of a prescribed logic value is outputted from a condition judgement circuit 57 through a synchronous counter 56.</p> |
