<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a toner without producing an unpleasant odor at the time of opening a toner container and during the use by adding a porous body to the toner contg. a thermoplastic resin and a colorant at least up to the beginning of the use. SOLUTION: A toner contg. a thermoplastic resin and a colorant is prepd. and a porous body is added to the toner at least up to the beginning of the use. The porous body preferably has a large specific surface area of >=50 m2/g, more preferably >=500 m2/g and it is typically e.g. activated carbon but activated carbon fibers, silica, silica gel, alumina, activated clay, zeolite or cellulose may be used. A worked product of the porous body having an increased surface area and enhanced adsorbing performance in the form of a sheet, a honeycomb, granules or fibers is preferably used. In addition, a natural or synthetic polymer having adsorbing ability may be used.</p> |
