<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a reader to generate an ad hoe link between the nodes of an electronic document. SOLUTION: A link is generated between nodes according to free form ink, and an annotation or note preparing function corresponding to the free form ink is strengthened. A read/write system 10 generates a link between free form ink anchors 62, and when a free form ink stroke is extended beyond the boundary of windows, a link is generated between documents which are present in the different windows. When the free form ink stroke indicating the link is deleted, the link is removed. Also, when the corresponding link is selected, the ink anchor is displayed on a display, and all the linked related anchors are displayed with the surrounding context.</p> |
