<p>This invention relates to a catalyst composition comprising: (a) a source of a Group VIII metal, (b) a bidentate phosphine ligand having the formula (I) R1R2P(CH2)nPR3R4 where n is 1 or 2 and R?1, R2, R3 and R4¿ are independently selected from a phenyl group or an alkyl substituted phenyl group with the proviso that at least one of R?1, R2, R3 and R4¿ is an alkyl substituted phenyl group, and (c) a promoter.</p> |
