An insulating tube of flexible expanded material has an eccentric bore parallel to its axis, a flat side, and a fixing clip which retains the tube when the flat side is pressed into it. The tube is pref. of polyethylene coated with polyethylene, polyvinyl chloride, or polyacrylonitrile. The clip is also claimed and is pref. of polyvinyl chloride or aluminium.
