The invention relates to novel imidamide derivatives of formula (I), wherein R, R1, R2 and R3 have the meaning mentioned in the description. The inventio n also relates to a method of production and to the use of said derivatives fo r combating animal pests such as insects, arachnids and especially nematodes.< /SDOAB>
