DIFFERENTIATION REGULATORY FACTOR EXPRESSED SPECIFICALLY IN TESTIS

摘要

A gene expressed specifically in the testis which has been unexpectedly isolated by chance in the course of studies on the expression of a gene encoding an unknown protein causing cell death. As the results of the analysis on the thus isolated gene, it is suggested that this gene has a novel gene sequence showing no significant homology with any gene on the data base and participates in the regulation of testis differentiation.
