The present invention relates to a device (10) which can be mounted on the ceiling, or the like, of a building and which is intended for storing the wheels (26) or the tyres of a vehicle. The device includes a base (12) comprising a plurality of support members (14) which are connected to said base (12) at one end and which are fitted with retaining members (16) for th e wheels (26) or the tyres of a vehicle at the other end. The support members (14) are pivotally connected to the base (12) and can be displaced from a reception position to a storage position.
