FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: described is method of preparing arylsulfonyl urea including 1-1-{4-[2-(2-methoxy-5- chlorobenzamido)ethyl] phenylsulfonyl}-3-cyclohexyl urea glyburide and 1-{4-[2-(5-methylpyrazine-2- carboxamido)ethyl]phenylsulfonyl)-3-cyclohexyl urea glypizide by reaction of corresponding arylsulfon amides with isocyanates and subsequently isolating the desired products by conventional methods. Arylsulfonamide is reacted as organic salt thereof in aprotic organic solvent including water-immiscible solvent.
