Harvester machine cutter has a conveyor duct (12) in which is at least one row of swivel-mounted cutter-knives (15) protruding into the conveyor duct. A conveyor element (14) has tines (13) and is rotarily driven on an axis horizontally and transversely aligned to the direction of travel (F). Each cutter blade is supported flexibly by a support which is released for moving all or some of the cutter blades from a cutting to a non-cutting position. Each cutter blade has a support rotating on an axle parallel with the swivel axle of the cutter blades.
