FIELD: internal combustion engines; control of volume of combustion chambers. SUBSTANCE: outer and inner eccentric inserts with toothed rims are turnable on main journal of crankshaft raising or lowering the crankshaft and pistons vertically, thus regulating the volume of combustion chamber depending on mode of operation of engine. Toothed rims of eccentric inserts are thrown into engagement with at least one control shaft which is connected with fuel delivery and/or air delivery control members.
