The sofa table has four legs (2) joined at the top in order to form two pairs with lateral positioned wooden bars (1) of the same dimensions as the legs. A wider wooden element (3) is fitted between the legs at both ends of the table. The table top is assembled of three segments, the central element (4) is a rectangular sheet, each of the outer elements is made of two rectangular sheets (5,6), joined along one of the sides. When the table is used as a sofa table the inner sheet (5) of each of the outer elements is placed in a horizontal position while the outer sheet points downwards. The outer element can be rotated in a right angle, the inner sheet placed on top of the edge (16) of the central element while the outer sheet rests on a support element (15), placed on top of the wide wooden element, now offering a lifted space for dining on both ends of the table.
