<p>This invention relates to immunoassays for detection and differentiation of Group O human immunodeficiency virus infections, specifically to monoclonal antibodies reactive with Group O sequences useful as positive control reagents in immunoassays specifically containing Group O target antigen for improved detection of Group O antibodies from infected humans and in contaminated blood and blood products. The invention also relates to hybridoma cell lines capable of producing the HIV-1 Group O monoclonal antibodies and methods of detecting the HIV-1 Group O antigens.</p> |
