Operating method for gas turbine by producing pumpable ice slurry and spraying into combustion air

The method involves supplying the exhaust gases from the gas turbine (1) through a steam boiler (7) producing steam. A refrigerating unit (11) is driven with the steam produced in the steam boiler. A pumpable ice slurry is produced in the refrigerating unit and sprayed into the combustion air fed to the gas turbine. The ice slurry is preferably produced at light loading, stored in a container (14) and deposited in the combustion air during peak loading.
