The regulating device is fitted to a pump which also has a flow limiting valve. The regulating valve contains a movable regulating piston (3), sprung towards an aperture (1) by a spring (10). The aperture is connected to a first pressure-transmitting supply cavity. The piston also has a throttle boring (2), into which a conical pin (12) fixed to the casing (11) projects. The throttle boring is also connected via a throat (7) to the second pressure-transmitting supply cavity (6).
