A sole of a shoe has a moulded top side. There is a soft tread surface (2) on the top side in the region of the ball of the foot and there are devices in the heel region which release a signal or a sensation perceptible to the wearer from a specified pressure loading and a specified imprint angle. The sole is an inlaid sole for shoes, sandals or similar. It is a component of a shoe, sandal or similar. The heel region (3) has a grooved surface (4) with pointed-edges ribs (5) pointing upwards. The heel region has pointed bumps. The pointed-edge regions are inlets of hard plastic or hard wood.
