Circuit for reducing input voltage for revolution rate measurement has potential divider(s) regulated to increase/decrease division factor with increasing/decreasing input voltage

The circuit has at least one potential divider (R1,R3,T1,R4;R7,RB,R2) with which the input voltage can be reduced to obtain the working voltage (Uz, Uarb) for an evaluation device. The potential divider(s) can be regulated so that the division factor can be increased with increasing input voltage and reduced with decreasing input voltage. An Independent claim is also included for a method of reducing an input voltage.
