<p>A decoder (1) decodes a bit stream including a plurality of packets. Data corresponding to an access unit contains a first data part (150a-1) and a second data part (150a-2). The decoder (1) comprises a packet regenerator section (10), which receives a first packet (130) and a second packet (130) following the first packet (130). When the first packet (130) includes a first data part (150a-1) and second packet (130) includes a second data part (150a-2), the packet regenerator section (10) combines the first data part (150a-1) and the second data part (150a-2) to generate a new packet (164) that includes data corresponding to the access unit. The decoder (1) also comprises a decoding section (40) for decoding the data corresponding to the access unit. The new packet (164) includes information about the length of data corresponding to the access unit.</p> |
