In the central positions (3,4) between the valves (1,1', 2,2') two spark plugs are arranged. The cylinder head incorporates two camshafts (5), which activate via tappets the inlet and exhaust valves. In a variant version, one camshaft operates via rockers the two inlet valves and one exhaust valve and the remaining exhaust valve is controlled by a further camshaft.
