FIELD: methods of gas cleaning; applicable in separation of hydrogen chloride from various gas mixtures and for cleaning from HCl of gas effluents, for instance, waste gases of processes of rendering safe, by therm methods (burning, pyrolysis) of industrial and household wastes. SUBSTANCE: method includes adsorption of hydrogen chloride from gas phase by solid adsorbent and then adsorbent is subjected to regeneration. Adsorbent of hydrogen chloride is used in the form of high-silicon zeolites (clinoptilolite, mordenite) dehydrated and nondehydrated, and preliminarily decationized and dealuminized and also dehydrated and nondehydrated. Adsorption is carried out at temperature of 20-100 C and adsorbent is regenerated by heating up to 250-300 C. Technical result includes simplified technology of cleaning gases from HCl due to use of adsorbent by solid adsorbent and elimination of additional process stages, for instance, distillation of technical hydrochloric acid, and exclusion of formation of nonutilized wastes in cleaning process.
