The torque calculation device has a processor which calculates the iron losses of the asynchronous motor (1) using the hysteresis characteristics of the stator core, supplied to a divider for division by the primary angle frequency, providing an output which is subtracted from the calculated motor torque obtained from the supplied voltage, the motor current components, the primary winding resistance and the primary angle frequency.
