<p>The invention concerns the technical sector of transforming wood by torrefaction of wood material of plant origin. More particularly it concerns a reactor characterised in that it comprises: a sealed chamber operating discontinuously; means for high stirring (10, 12) of the atmosphere for heating the wood; a loading system whereon the wood is maintained under 'ongoing and adaptable' mechanical stress (9, 14). Said reactor provides an industrial method for crosslinking wood.</p> |
