The gas burner has a gas supply line by means of which a mixture of fuel gas and air is fed to the burner body (24) , via an injector. The injector has at least one zone from which flows a larger amount of fuel gas per unit of time than from the other parts of the injector. The fuel gas air mixture formed , in this fat-mix zone is supplied via a pipe to a burner part possessing an ignition (22) and or a control (21).
