PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retainer unnecessary to be replaced even with the change of the diameter of a photoconductor drum to be produced. SOLUTION: This retainer is provided with claws 12 radially extended outward from the periphery of a body 11 erected on a base 19, and an energizing means formed of a combination of a disc 14, pins 13, oblong holes 12a and a compression coil spring 17 for energizing the claws 12 to the outside of the body 11. The claws 12 are brought into pressure contact with the inner peripheral surface of a rough surface tube 1 by the energizing means to hold the rough surface tube 1.
