PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a round blade for a paper cutter having the sufficient cutting quality even if edging grinding work is not performed after punching. SOLUTION: In a manufacturing method of a round blade for a paper cutter having a disk-shaped round blade and a straight line-shaped fixed blade and being constituted in such a way that the round blade is journalled so as to be rotatable and movable in the extending direction of the fixed blade, the disk surface of the round blade is inclined in the extending direction of an edge of the fixed blade, an edge of the round blade is allowed to abut to the fixed blade, and paper is cut by moving the round blade, the round blade is formed in such a way that a steel plate is punched in a pattern by a press to form a disk-shaped member 41, a member 47 having hardness higher than the steel plate of a material is allowed to abut to the peripheral edge part 45 of the surface 51 on the burr forming side of the disk-shaped member 41, and an angle formed by the abutting surface 49 of the member 47 and the disk surface 51 of the disk-shaped member 41 is held at a prescribed angle to relatively rotate the disk-shaped member 41 and the member 47.
