PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select a hair style for which the character and the identity of a patron are respected by a method wherein a hair pallet having a plurality of hair styles selected by the patron is sent to the patron, and the patron determines a hair style from the sent hair pallet, and the hair style is shaped at a beauty parlor or the like. SOLUTION: On a beauty parlor side, a computer graphic artist inputs data in an image input device 13 of a personal computer 14 based on a plurality of sheets 11 which a patron selects from a large number of hair style sheets 10, and a face photograph 12, a two-dimensional color image is synthesized. In concrete, information of the image of a face part region in the photograph 12 and a plurality of hair style region images in the sheets 11 is respectively input in the image input device 13 of the computer 14. Then, while monitoring the adjustment of scales and angles or the like, the adjustment of tones and brightness, and a synthesization border line correction or the like by a proper display apparatus 15, a color synthesized photograph is produced using a mouse 16 or the like in a manner to form a natural style.
