PURPOSE: A shampoo composition is provided to minimize a side effect relating to an accumulation of the excessive amount of a conditioner on the hair for supplying an improved conditioning effect and an excellent washing by including a specific surfactant component. CONSTITUTION: A shampoo composition includes: an ethoxylated alkyl sulfate surfactant having from about 1 to about 8 moles of ethoxylation; 5.0 ¯ 50 % of surfactant including an amphoteric surfactant; 0.01 ¯ 3.0 % of cation cellulose polymer with 400000 ¯ 1500000 of molecular amount and 0.9 ¯ 1.5 meq/g of electric charge density; 0.005 ¯ 5 % of insoluble non-volatile silicon conditioner; 0.05 ¯ 5 wt% of non-volatile insoluble liquid being dissolved in the surfactant while having a viscosity of 1 ¯ 300 centipoises and being selected from a group being formed by hydrocarbon oil, fatty acid, or the mixture; and under 5 % of ethoxylated alkyl sulfate surfactant having under 1 mole of ethoxylation.
