PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric system connecting device for connecting an ignition plug to an ignition coil or connecting an ion current detecting element to an ion current detecting circuit through conductive spring members in an internal combustion engine. SOLUTION: This electric system connecting device of internal combustion engine electrically connects an ignition coil 5 and an ignition plug 1 to each other through a first conductive spring member 8 for generating the spring force in the axial direction of the ignition plug 1 and a second conductive spring member 9 for generating the spring force in a direction crossing the axial direction of the ignition plug 1. In this case, a high-voltage socket 6 of an ignition coil 5 and a head terminal 3 of the ignition plug 1 are electrically connected to each other through the coil spring 8 and the plate spring 9, and high-voltage magnetism generated in the ignition coil 5 is securely supplied to the ignition plug 1.
