PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent infiltration of rain water while ventilation capability is held in the inside of a house by forming a number of slit-like ventilation openings on both the side parts between the lower part of a ridge cover closing an upper part and a roof face. SOLUTION: A ridge cover 1 covered on an upper part and a body 2 of a ventilation ridge composed of the body 2 fold a vertically providing part 25 and a projection plate 26 providing a slit-like ventilation opening 28 by a half extraction plate 28a frontward of a bottom plate 24 and its downstream side in stages, and the ventilation opening 28 opened sideward of the half extraction plate 28a resists strong wind from a front. In addition, an inclination plate 22 is substantially orthogonally upward folded on the end of the ridge top part side of the body 2, further the edge is folded frontward to form a flashing plate 21, and a ventilation part between the upper end of the flashing plate 21 and the ridge cover 1 is an outlet passage for the outside of indoor air. Invasion of a harmful insect is prevented, and as the half extraction plate 28a of a slit part is provided, blowing-in of rain drops can be prevented.
