PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject device capable of reducing the vibration of a reaping blade and a driving system of a reaping device of a head-feeding type combine harvester by forming the reaping blade of the reaping device arranged in a reaping pretreatment device into a specific shape. SOLUTION: This device for driving a reaping blade in a head-feeding type combine harvester is obtained by forming a reaping blade 66 of a reaping device into one continuous platy unit of a continuous length, installing the reaping blade 66 so as to freely reciprocate and slide relatively to a receiving blade 72 and respectively providing a driving part for the reaping blade 66 on one lateral part of the reaping blade 66 and a balancing weight 70 through an interlocking mechanism with left and right symmetry in the outer lateral part in the head-feeding type combine harvester provided by liftably and lowerably arranging a reaping pretreatment device at the front of a mobile machine body and installing a reaping blade device on the lower side of a lower frame of the reaping pretreatment device. At this time, the interlocking mechanism is preferably composed of spur gears and more preferably composed of fan-shaped spur gears 73a and 73b.
