PURPOSE: The metal pigment paste for aqueous coating composition useful as a metal coating for automobiles, is provided which has an improved water resisting quality. CONSTITUTION: A pigment having the corrosion resistance containing zinc cation, molybdate anion and phosphate anion is dispersed in propylene glycol monomethyl ether. The disperse solution is added in a mixer containing alumium paste to give 10 weight % of a pigment for the alunium, followed by agitation of the compound for 80 hours to give the uniformed paste.
