PURPOSE: A device for reducing the sensitivity of a wireless receiver is provided to control a power level of noise caused by a power level of a signal. CONSTITUTION: A signal source for reducing sensitivity supplies a signal for reducing sensitivity to a path for reducing sensitivity. A variable attenuator on the path for reducing sensitivity controls the power level of the signal for reducing sensitivity to provide a desired level for reducing sensitivity. The path for reducing sensitivity is coupled to a receiving path of a receiver and the signal for reducing sensitivity is injected to the receiving path. The signal for reducing sensitivity decreases the sensitivity of the receiver by increasing the power level of noise corresponding to the power level of the signal.
