PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely and efficiently wash away foreign matter such as a machining chip attached to the inside of a hollow object. SOLUTION: A device for cleaning the hollow object is provided with positioning means 26, 27, 28 for positioning the hollow object 100 to be cleaned at a predetermined position, plural cleaning medium injecting means 29A, 29B which are installed movably between released positions 29Aa, 29Ba apart from plural cleaning openings 101, 102 of the hollow object installed thereat and closely contact positions 29Ab, 29Bb in closely contact with the cleaning openings and which inject cleaning medium from the cleaning openings 101, 102 at the closely contact positions 29Ab, 29Bb, driving means 30A, 30B which move the respective cleaning medium injection means between the released positions 29Aa, 29Ba and the closely contact positions 29Ab, 29Bb, a cleaning medium feeding means which feeds a cleaning medium made by blending a cleaning liquid and compressed air to respective cleaning medium injecting means 29A, 29B and a controlling means which operates the driving means 30A, 30B and the cleaning medium feeding means so that cycle cleaning, in which respective cleaning medium injecting means 29A, 29B are in closely contact with the plural cleaning openings 101, 102 for the hollow object alternatively for a definite time and the cleaning medium is injected inside the hollow object during the closely contact time, is executed.
