EQUIPMENT FOR REMOVING GARBAGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide equipment for removing garbage which puts no restriction on passing of water even after the garbage is caught. SOLUTION: In a flowing water channel, garbage in flowing water is removed by a circulating screen having a constitution wherein chain links 4a (4b) stretched over around sprockets 3a and 3b disposed above and below the surface of flowing water in the channel are provided in pairs, buckets 7 being fixed between the chain links and a large number of these buckets 7 being juxtaposed in the direction of advance of the chain links. In this case, the bucket 7 has a structure wherein side plates fixed to the chain links respectively are connected to each other by at least two transverse tie beams and a net in the shape of being recessed toward the outside of the chain links is stretched over between these transverse tie beams.
