PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily open a bottle without bending a cap by setting a rotation axis of a bottle opener along an upper face circumference at the time of opening of the cap of a container. SOLUTION: In order to open a cap easily, the cap is viewed right from a side, the cap is hooked by a claw 2 of the bottle opener from behind the cap, and pulled down toward front, whereby large force can be easily applied to the cap. Therefore, the bottle opener when viewed right from a side is narrowed from a tip 1 of a grip toward the claw 2 catching the cap on a slope of approximately 15 degrees, whereby caps of almost all sizes can be supported while a rotation axis remains along a circumference. Thus the rotation axis is free in a case of a crown-cap type cap, a plug of canned beverage or a plug of a 1.8 liter bottle, so that the bottle opener can be fitted to any size and easy opening can be insured. Further, since the crown cap may not bend in the vicinity of the center, the crown-cap type cap can be reused on an original bottle.
