PURPOSE: An auto focusing apparatus is provided, which controls an auto focusing using a horizontal and vertical edge extracting method. CONSTITUTION: An auto focusing apparatus comprises: an AF processing unit (200) for performing two dimensional radio frequency filtering of each frame to output an accumulating radio frequency value of each frame; a microcomputer (210) for controlling an adjustment of a focus according to the frame corresponding to a maximum accumulating radio frequency value among the accumulating radio frequency value of each frame outputted from the AF processing unit (200); and a motor (220) to be operated according to the microcomputer (210) for adjusting a focus. Therefore, since two dimensional radio frequency filter is used, the focus adjustment can accurately performed. |
