This xonotlite thermal insulation material production method may be used for producing temperature resistant thermal insulation materials and articles. Xonotlite is obtained in suspensions, which have 3-10 % solid substances, during the reaction of CaO present in lime milk and fine grained SiO<2> in hydrothermal conditions, then the obtained product is filtered with or without additives, products are moulded and dried. The novelty is that xonotlite synthesis is performed for 3-5 hrs in a saturated steam chamber at a temperature of 197-203 degrees Celsius, providing the row material mixture with movement in a specific direction at a speed of 1.62-2>69 m/s, and for acceleration of the formation of xonotlite a production waste filtrate is used, containing 0.05-0.075% of xonotlite particles of the total dry substances amount. |
